Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP has a long history of environmentally-conscious business operations. We are committed to incorporating environmental stewardship into all of our business operations. The firm has established a comprehensive environmental policy to minimize the unnecessary depletion of our natural resources and to protect and nurture the natural environment. We stand firm in our belief that a successful business is dependent on a healthy environment.
At CPDB, we recognize that environmental stewardship cannot be achieved through management practices only. It is a shared responsibility that requires the commitment and participation of each and every employee. In addition to our formal Environmental Policy, the firm's Green Committee of attorneys and staff, works actively to communicate and promote positive environmental efforts in all facets of the firm.

- Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP works actively to properly manage "universal waste" which includes fluorescent bulbs and used batteries and "E-waste" by transferring all material to authorized disposal companies. To conserve energy, water, materials and other resources:The firm utilizes power save modes in all equipment; low-flow, automated faucets, all paper contains 30% post-consumer waste; we recycle paper, cardboard, cans, bottles, plastic bags.

- CPDB uses only remanufactured toner cartridges; all cleaning and maintenance products used on our site are biodegradable; twice a year we have an event to collect unused office supplies which are then placed back on supply shelves.

- Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP has joined The Ferry Building's composting program; employees use City Car Share for off-site meetings rather than drive their personal vehicles to work; we share our green business practices with other firms. CPDB also prohibits the purchase of bottled water firm-wide.
