How to apply:

The San Francisco Green Business program is now accepting applications electronically. The application includes a short enrollment form to gather information about the nature of your business. Please read the instructions below, before starting your application.

• Business Sectors: We currently serve hotels, restaurants, offices, retailers, and dentists located in San Francisco. We are also expanding our program to four new sectors: auto repair shops, janitorial services, and garment cleaners and printers, and will be accepting a limited number of applications from each. If your business does not operate in one of the above sectors, you may contact us to be put on a waiting list and use our program standards as a guide to green your business. • Compliance: Only businesses that are in compliance with environmental regulations are eligible for green business recognition. Enrolled businesses may receive compliance verification assessments.
