The SF Green Business program is a wonderful opportunity to implement green practices, receive onsite technical assistance, join the green business community and receive recognition from the City of San Francisco.

Here are the steps in the process:

  1. Submit application
  2. Submit completed checklist
  3. Phone consultation
  4. Initial site visit
  5. Onsite assessments to verify that San Francisco Green Business standards are being met
  6. San Francisco Green Business recognition awarded and maintained

We are currently accepting applications from the following business sectors:

We are also launching five new sectors and will be accepting a limited number of applications from printers, commercial buildings, auto repair shops, janitorial services, and garment cleaners. We are currently only working with businesses in the above sectors.
