ThirstyBear is the first & only brewery in San Francisco to serve all premium CCOF certified organic hand-crafted ales & lagers!! No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in our organic malts!
ThirstyBear serves only sustainable harvested seafood, all natural meats free of growth hormones, antibiotics & synthetic additives, seasonal local produce & whenever economically possible we choose organic.

• We recycle all paper, glass, aluminum & plastic


• We compost all organic matter


• We recycle our cooking oil into biodiesel


• Our paper for menu's, business & promotional material is all post consumer recycled


• Our to go containers are recyclable and or compostable


• We use green cleaning supplies & use green methods for janitorial & pest prevention


• We replaced over 300 lights with energy saving bulbs & fixtures


• We have implemented a water conservation program in the restaurant & brewery
