It depends on the toxicity of the chemicals and how frequently they are used. If your business sources with a janitorial product supply company, you should be able to return chemicals to your supplier without using them up and request new, greener products. If you are unable to do so, we ask that all products used frequently be switched out sooner than later.

In general, it is in the best interest of you and your employees' health to properly dispose of your non-green cleaning chemicals as soon as possible.  Please visit the Household Hazardous Waste website for more information on how to properly dispose of these products

We also ask that you provide a purchase order or invoice listing the green products you intend to use. We may conduct a follow-up walk-through in the future to verify the use of greener products.
