Working with over 800 local artists in the last 10 years, RAG has provided income to many Californians and significantly reduced the fossil fuels usually entailed in shipping and manufacturing abroad. RAG encourage it's artists and designers to promote their line further through the display of their biography and signage with their work both instore and online.
As a green business, RAG also:
- uses 100% PCW recycled shopping bags purchased locally AND donated bags for reuse as shopping bags
- uses Compost, Recycle and Landfill disposal cans in office and public areas
- uses energy efficient lighting throughout all of the store
- encourages artists works to be made from reclaimed materials
