Global Gourmet Catering is the first Bay Area Green Business certified large scale catering company in Northern California. We are committed to incorporating environmentally friendly practices in our event production as well as our day-to-day operations.
- We source local, seasonal, organic ingredients featuring sustainably farmed produce, meats, seafood and wine.
- We serve San Francisco's pure quality tap water from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir whenever possible to reduce plastic packaging of bottled water.
- We prefer reusable service wares and offer 100% compostable products.
- We participate in San Francisco's SFGreasecycle Program, which re-purposes used vegetable oil to fuel the City of San Francisco's alternative-fueled vehicles such as public busses and utility trucks.
- We've taking "the Pledge" and are Farm Free Salmon Community Members! www.focb.org
- We donate left-over food to Bay Area food bank organizations, such as FoodRunners.
- We offer "Zero-waste" event services as well as carbon-offset programs to our clients.
