She is a licensed architect recognized by SFMOMA as one of the Bay Area’s top experimental designers. An educator since 1995, Ms. Martin has held teaching and administrative positions in architecture, art and design at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco/Oakland and the University of California, Berkeley . She is founding director of Plant*SF, a San Francisco non-profit focused on stormwater diversion through community planting projects. She is a Commissioner of the San Francisco Commission on the Environment, a member of the Mayor’s Green Vision Council and participates in a number of civic organizations.
