Founded in 2007, the Green Home Center, is San Francisco's first green retail center with more than 10 partners. We cover many "green" products from consulting to installation.

• Our space has no heating, only passive heat from appliances. Works really well!
• We use all LED recessed lights for the main lighting of the space.
• Our business is easy to reach by public transportation and we have room for bicycle storage.
• We installed a $2000.- coffee/espresso maker serviced with real cups and cutlery, washed in a dishwasher after use.
• All paint inside is no VOC, recycled tiles were used for storage room floor, used sink and faucet for bathroom.
• Started collection of compost for the whole building. Employees are encouraged to bring theirs from at home.
• Serve only filtered Hetch Hetchy water
