We are a husband and wife architectural team specializing in residential and small commercial projects. We are committed to ‘greening’ our own personal lives and business for the sake of our children, our planet, and future generations. Green building is not complicated or necessarily more expensive, it really about good design, which includes:

• Properly planning a project for connection to the community, preservation of land, good solar orientation and use of natural lighting
• Construction of good quality, durable buildings with flexible planning
• Careful selection of materials and systems for indoor air quality, comfort and health
• Conservation of resources (energy, water, materials, and money)
• In our business practice:
• We recycle, compost, conserve, advocate and try to continually educate ourselves as well as our clients so that we can make good long lasting decisions.
• We have recently added a solar PV system to our roof, which offsets all of our peak power use during business hours while eliminating CO2 and saving money every month.
• Through the green business certification process the SFPUC audited our water use. With their assistance and a few free parts they gave us our water use has been cut almost in half.
• We are trained as Certified Green Building Professionals with Build It Green and are members of the USGBC (US Green Building Council).
